An electronic mode utilized by TPMS sensors when the vehicle is parked or stopped, typically for 1 minute or more (could be up to 30 minutes in some cases). In stationary monitoring, sensor transmission frequency is greatly reduced to conserve battery life. Sometimes, only in the case of delta pressure will the TPMS sensor transmit. Not all OE sensors offer stationary monitoring. Some switch only between rolling mode and parking mode (excluding factory/manufacturing modes).
